The system consists of combining anti-biotic collector resins with nutrients required for growth of various types of pathogenic bacteria, in order to obtain an assembly which allows development of the micro-organisms. Suitable resins are copolymers of styrene, acrylic esters and olivinyl benzene, and suitable nutrients are vitamins, oligo-elements and amino-acids. The assembly is contained in a transparent, neutral glass container with an air-tight rubber plug.
