TITLE OF THE INVENTION:EXTRUDER HEAD FOR PRODUCING FLATCOHESIVE PROFILED WEBS FROM RESILIENTMIXTURES OF DIFFERING COMPOSITIONABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE:An extruder head for producing flat cohesiveprofiled strips from resilient mixtures of differingcomposition, such as mixtures of rubber or syntheticmaterial, and especially for manufacturing uncuredtread strips for pneumatic tires having a two-plycentral portion and two similar edge portions. Theextruder head includes two extruders which are dis-posed at an acute angle next to or above one another,and feed a common extrusion nozzle via a preform havingflow channels which extend one above the other. Theextruder head also has a third extruder which conveysthe mixture for the edge portions and is connected tothe preform at a greater angle than are the aforemen-tioned extruders. The flow route of the third extruderin the preform, starting from its connecting bore, isinitially guided as a single connecting channel to adirection-changing angle piece in the central regionabove or below the flow channels associated with theother two extruders, and from there is split into twobranch channels which span the connecting channels,are essentially of equal length, and in their edgeregions end in edge channels which lead into the edgeportions of the profiled strip.
