The invention concerns an extruder injection head with at least one top and one bottom injection head, where between the top and the bottom injection head a mould gap is formed to form a mixing profile, one of the two injection head parts forms the flat or near-flat side of the mixing profile, the other of the two injection heads in question forms the contoured side of the mixture profile, characterized by:that the injection head forming the contoured side of the mixing profile is arranged in a multitude of seamless adjacent sections, each of which has a mould surface that contacts the rubber mixture, where each shape segment is rotated symmetrically around an outlet shaft and has several radially outermost gears for use as the outlet of a gearbox and each shape segment rotates rotationally symmetrically around the outlet shaft by means of an adjustment unit which has a drive shaft and at least one adjustment segment,where one adjustment segment or each adjustment segment of at least one adjustment segment, in conjunction with each of the design segments on the drift shaft, forms a gear. The invention also concerns an extruder and a corresponding process.
