method for examining the content of the volume of a biological sample containing particles to determine the diagnostic significance of the volume of biological sample.it is the distribution of a number of aliquots of the sample were submitted for consideration to a low power field magnification.the total number of aliquots examined by low power field magnification is a first fraction of the volume of the biological sample.we count the number of particles detected in the first fraction, and then comparing the number of particles detected in the first known total.if the result of the comparison indicates that the sample contains a small number of particles from the point of view of diagnosis, the process is completed. otherwise, the process is continued.there is a second portion of the volume of a biological sample, comprising a plurality of aliquots by high power field magnification.the total number of particles detected by high power magnification, to compare this with a second known total.we determine the diagnostic significance of the biological sample through the comparison of the second number of particles with the number of particles counted in the second volume.actionnel.
