摘要
By means of a blade and deflection plate system arranged on the four wheels of an all-wheel drive motor vehicle, strong upward lifting forces are produced when travelling on water, which forces lift the body of the vehicle out of the water. Only the wheels with the blades remain in contact with the water, dipping deeply into it by several degrees. Since, as a result of this, the particularly high resistance in water of amphibious vehicles which is caused by their shape is eliminated, the propulsion forces which are also produced by the blade system can give the vehicle the required high speed when travelling on water. The blades of the system with their holders can be removed and folded up and easily stored when travelling on land, for example in the boot. Before beginning to travel on water, they can then be mounted on the wheels significantly more quickly than, for example, snow chains, with a small number of easily carried out manoeuvres. Embodiments which are continuously connected to the wheels are also possible if, for example, higher costs are less significant.
