In the process for the production of yoghurt in the cup (pot) having a fruit preparation on top, the cup is first filled with the fruit preparation and then the yoghurt milk via a bottom opening of the cup closed by a lid, the bottom opening is closed and the cup, after the incubation period, is turned over. This process avoids reinfection of the yoghurt milk during the incubation process. To carry out the process, the yoghurt cup has a bottom opening closable by a stopper.
