Patent Application GPA-122/8602 relates to a method for regulating the thread feed onto sectional beams during direct beaming. When dividing extremely wide warps for the weaving of industrial textiles, so-called sectional beams which are directly beamed individually are used. As a result of the attachment of these sectional beams onto a one-part or a multi-part unwinding shaft interconnected fixedly in terms of rotation and positively, there is obtained, for an equal rotary angle of the unwinding shaft, a delivery length of the threads which is dependent on the diameter of the sectional beams and the differences in which lead to diverging thread pulling forces during weaving. During the production of the sectional beams, the method according to the invention continuously records their actual diameter, compares this with a desired diameter valid for the point of comparison and corrects method parameters directly or indirectly influencing the diameter, with the effect of a deviation moving towards zero.
