Device for giving circular guidance and longitudinal positioning of the perforated elements of a rotary screening cylinder between two circles of the framework of this cylinder, during the installing of the said elements. It consists of two cradles 3 arranged in the interior of the housing 1 in the gap between two consecutive rings 2a of the cylinder. Each cradle is made of round wire forming a circular outline interrupted over approximately 90 DEG so as to create an inlet end which is slightly raised 3a and an outlet end 3b which is bent outwards, the cradles being open towards a shutter door giving access to the housing. The perforated elements 2c are introduced through the annular space between the cradles of the cylinder. Longitudinal positioning is achieved by means of a bracket 4 fixed to each ridge defining its length, slightly to the rear of its introduction ridge and resting on the edge of the ring of the cylinder.
