The subject of the invention relates to a device for atmosphere analysis using an ionisation chamber with a gaseous reactant having a suction intake. It consists of the combination of a circuit for direct suction of the air through a filter plug 21 conveying the air into the ionisation chamber 3 connected to the suction 9 and to the reactant intake 8 with a measurement electrode 5 connected to the electronic circuit 10 by a contactor 11, whereas the negative electrode is constituted by the body of the chamber. Is intended for analyzing toxic gases in air such as hydrochloric acids, hydrofluoric acids, ammonia, phosgene, etc. while avoiding remote sampling before analysis as well as transport of the gas in pipes.
