Zeolite of omega structure and its use in hydroconversion reactions of hydrocarbons

New stabilised and dealuminated zeolite having an omega structure, characterised by: - an overall SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio greater than or equal to 12; - a sodium content less than 0.5 % by weight; - the parameters a and c of the elementary unit cell respectively less than 1.813 and 0.759 nm; - a nitrogen adsorption capacity at 77 K, for a partial pressure P/Po = 0.19, greater than approximately 8 % by weight; - a network of mesopores whose radii (rays) are preferably of between 1.5 and 14 mm. The zeolite can be used as a mixture with a suitable matrix in reactions for the conversion of hydrocarbons.
