ACCEPTANCE EQUIPMENT OF LPG TO UNDERGROUND STORAGE CAVITY OF LPG

PURPOSE:To prevent gasification of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) falling down in a feed pipe, by opening the upper part of the LPG feed pipe, vertically long communicated to an underground storage cavity, to the cavity atmosphere simultaneously providing a throttling part on the way of said pipe. CONSTITUTION:Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is supplied to an underground cavity 1 formed in an underground rock bed from a ground LPG supply equipment by a pump 2 through a feed pipe 3. This LPG feed pipe 3 is equipped in a pit 4 disconnected from the outside air, and its lower end 5 is opened to an underground cavity 5. To the upper of the pipe 3 an opening 6, communicated to the pit 4, and at least a throttle valve 7 are provided. In the opening part 6, the falling LPG is once released to pressure in the pit, and generation of large negative pressure in the pipe can be prevented by falling gravity, further gasification of the LPG can be prevented by the throttle valve 7.
