COLLISION CUSHIONING CAR FOR DRIVEWAY TRAFFIC REGULATION

PURPOSE:To enable setting of the cushioning movement stroke of a car to be collided to a high value and to improve safety, by a method wherein a car to be collided, to the front and the rear of which cushioning bodies are mounted, is coupled to the rear of a self-running car through a link mechanism with a built-in a hydraulic cylinder for cushioning. CONSTITUTION:The lower end part of a rear link 2 in forward-inclining orientation is rotatably supported to lateral axles 3 on both sides of a car 1 to be collided having a pair of wheels on both sides. Bracket 5 are securely mounted on both sides of the rear part of a car body 17 of a self-running car 4 for movement for moving the car 1 to be collided, and the lower end of a front link 6 in backward-inclining orientation is pivotally mounted to each bracket 5 by means of a lateral axle 7. The upper end parts of the front and rear links 6 and 2 are pivotally mounted to each other by means of a lateral axle 8, a rear projection arm 9 is integrally connected to the upper end part of the front link 6, and the upper end part of a hydraulic cylinder 10 for cushioning, the lower end of which is pivotally supported to a lateral axle 3, is pivotally mounted to the tip part of the arm 9 by means of a pivot 18. Cushioning bodies 22 and 23 are respectively mounted to the front and the rear of the car 1 to be collided.
