METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PROCESSING PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL FOR IMPROVING DEVELOPMENT STABILITY OR THE LIKE

PURPOSE:To always stably hold a development processing by supplying an unused alkaline developer to every one sheet of a photosensitive material to be processed, and executing a development by keeping the liquid temperature of a developer reservoir constant. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive planographic printing plate (PS plate) to be processed is carried by a pair of carrying rollers 1 and a pair of squeezing rollers 2, the alkaline developer is supplied to the surface of a photosensitive layer from a developer supplying nozzle 13, leveled uniformly by a developer diffusion plate 14, and after holding it, is rubbed by a swing brush 15, and the developer is squeezed by the pair of squeezing rollers 2 and fed to a washing part 30. The developer is controlled to a suitable temperature by a heating/cooling means in advance in a developer storage tank 11, and fed to the PS plate surface through the supplying nozzle 13. This temperature is measured by a temperature sensor 22, and by giving this information to a heating/ cooling device placed in a hot/cold water tank 20, a hot/cold water temperature is controlled, and this hot/cold water is fed to a jacket 17 by a circulating pump 21, and a developer temperature is controlled. The used developer is discharged to a drain tank 19.
