The agent can be obtained by maintaining a mixture of factor VIII, antithrombin III, a phospholipid and calcium ions in an aqueous solution at a temperature of 1 to 45 DEG C for at least one minute, adding factor IX, and maintaining the solution at a temperature of 1 to 45 DEG C until a sample of this solution gives, on addition to a plasma, a partial thromboplastin time (PTT) of 15 to 30 seconds, adding where appropriate a polyol and where appropriate an amino acid, and where appropriate drying the solution.
