New complexes of thyroxine-binding protein with foreign substances - and assays for foreign substances in body fluids

Complexes of thyroxine-binding proteins, e.g. thyroxine-binding prealbumin (PA) or thyroxine-binding globulin (TBG), with substances foreign to the body, e.g. polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB), polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), polychlorinated dibenzo-para-dioxins (PCDD) or their metabolites, are new. Also claimed are mono- and polyclonal antibodies directed against the complexes, and methods for determn. of toxic substances in body fluids.
