The party plate for receiving food can be carried in one hand and has hollows (20 to 26) for receiving food and a receptacle, preferably a glass, for a drink. The receptacle hollow (26) for receiving the drink receptacle extends down freely on the underside (28) of the plate and separated from the neighbouring parts of the underside of the plate by a gripping clearance (30).
