According to the invention, the retreat working of development roads or other galleries no longer takes place by withdrawing the support and roof-fall exploitation but rather by the support remaining in the gallery by backfilling, a building material being used which is hydraulically bonding, non-water-soluble and to which a waste disposal product is added as an aggregate.
