The invention specifies a silo, in particular for grain, whose inner wall of a peripheral grid-type wall (1) is covered by an inner tarpaulin and, after filling, is covered over with a top covering tarpaulin (2), in the case of which silo the projecting ends of the tarpaulins are wound onto a bracing cable (5) which runs around in the vicinity of the top edge of the grid-type wall. Said wound-up roll is then secured by aprons (9, 10) which are fitted on the tarpaulins, are connected to the grid-type wall and, at the same time, stress the tarpaulins.
