The invention relates to a method for reducing a digital noise signal and a digital circuit arrangement to carry out this method. A sequence of low-pass-filtered signal values, which are derived from low-pass-filtered signal values determined earlier, and in which values are used which are buffer-stored at a sampling time, is generated from a digital input signal (Xe), comprising a digital useful signal and the digital noise signal.
