PURPOSE: To enable formation of a film of fluoroplastic properties having the same effect as a fluoroplastic film, with ease and excellent operability, by a method wherein a transfer layer prepared by adding thermosetting resin in a specified rate to fluoroplastic powder is formed on a support film. CONSTITUTION: A transfer leaf for a film of fluoroplastic properties is constituted by forming on a support film 62 a transfer layer 61 prepared by adding thermosetting resin of 10-300 pts.wt. to fluoroplastic powder of 100 pts.wt. The transfer layer 61 of the transfer leaf for the film of fluoroplastic properties is brought into contact with a material 7 to be subjected to transfer and it is heated and pressed by pushing a hot plate 8 against it from the direction of the support film 62. The transfer layer 61 of a heated part is transferred thereby onto the material 7. On the other hand, a part not being heated and pressed is left on the support film 62. By controlling the part being heated and pressed, a coating 9 of fluoroplastic properties in a desired shape can be formed easily.
