POLYACETAL RESIN COMPOSITION FOR SLIDING MEMBER AND GUIDE ROLLER OR POLE USING SAID COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject polyacetal resin composition, improved in friction and abrasion properties and suitable as tape running guide rollers, such as VTR 8mm video, by adding and using inorganic powder having a specific particle diameter and specified fatty acid ester in combination. CONSTITUTION:A composition obtained by blending (A) a polyacetal resin with (B) 1-20wt.% inorganic powder (e.g., calcium carbonate or magnesium carbonate), having =50mum average particle diameter and containing =95wt.% particles having =100mum particle diameter and (C) 0.05-10wt.% fatty acid ester of a 5-32C, preferably 12-22C fatty acid (e.g., lauric acid) with a 2-30C, preferably a 2-22C mono- or polyhydric alcohol (e.g., butyl alcohol).
