RECOVERY OF AGGREGATE IN SHIELD CONSTRUCTION WORK

PURPOSE:To effectively recover aggregate with low noise by a method in which coarse grains are allowed to settle down and be separated from mud water in a settling type classifier, and the coarse grains are dewatered while being vibrated in a washing conveyer. CONSTITUTION:Mud water containing excavated soil coming from an excavator 1 is charged into a settling type classifier 2 to separate coarse grains by settlement. Mud water which overflows is directed into a settling tank 3. The coarse grains from the classifier 2 are put on a washing conveyer 4 and washed by cleaning shower 5 to separate mud from the grains, and the grains are dewatered while being vibrated by a vibrator 6 and taken as aggregate from the final end. Sediments containing unsettled coarse grains, fine particles, and mud in the tank 3 is set to a cyclone separator 12 to separate unsettled coarse grains and fine particles and then put on the conveyer 4. The sediments deprived of unsettled coarse grains and fine particle is sent to a dehydrator 13.
