PURPOSE:To prevent separation of a shifter by installing a decontacting block of a stopper at an upper finger fixed to the lift bracket of a mast, and providing a contact piece at the bottom of an upper fork bar. CONSTITUTION:The top of an upper finger 3A fixed to a lift bracket 2 of a mast is detained with the hook part 5A' of an upper shifter 5A through a liner 4. This upper shifter 5A is fixed to an upper fork bar 6A of a fork 8 and make sideways movement. At the bottom of the upper finger 3A a stopper 14 is welded, whose decontacting block 14b is fixed to a supporting plate 14A by a bolt 15. An L-shaped contact piece 16 is welded to the bottom of the upper fork bar 6A, and the horizontal part 16b and block 14B are faced each other with a gap (2) between. When the liner 4 wears to its limit, the contact piece 16 comes into contact with the block 14B.
