MERGING PROCESSING SYSTEM FOR RELEASED AREA BY AREA ATTRIBUTE MARK

PURPOSE:To facilitate the merging processing for a released area and to improve the efficiency of the merging processing for the released area by setting an area attribute mark which has area size as a value at the head and tail of a working area and an area attribute mark which has the value obtained by multiplying the area side by -1 at the head and tail of the released area. CONSTITUTION:This system consists of a storage area control means 11, an initializing means 12, an assigning means 13, a releasing means 14, a merging inspecting means 15, a merging means 16, and an area attribute mark setting means 17, and is provided with a storage area end mark 20 and area attribute marks 30. The area attribute mark 30 which has the size of the area as the value is set at the head and tail of the working area assigned for working and the area attribute mark 30 which has the value obtained by multiplying the area size by -1 is set at the head and tail of the released data which becomes unnecessary and is released. Consequently, when the working area is released, the area attribute marks of areas right before and after the area are only inspected to easily decide the possibility of the merging of the released area.
