CONSTITUTION:An iron material for supplying iron ions to an iron or iron alloy plating soln. by dissolution is composed of =0.05% C, =0.1% Si, =0.1% Cu, =0.01% Sb, =0.01% Sn and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. The iron material is used in the form of a wire, granules or the like. When the iron material is used, iron ions can be effectively supplied to an iron plating soln. or an iron alloy plating soln. such as an Fe-Zn, Fe-Ni or Fe-P plating soln.
