PURPOSE:To measure F accurately, by a method wherein superpure water is refined with a concentration column and used as absorption liquid to eliminate interfering by organic acid to be detected at a retention time the same as that of F. CONSTITUTION:A line changeover valve 13 is switched as illustrated, superpure water is supplied to a concentration column 2 from a superpure water tank 26 and injected into an absorption bottle of a gas absorbing device 9 after impurities such as organic acid in the superpure water is removed by adsorption thereof by an anion exchange resin in the column 2. Then, an acid gas in the atmospheric air is also absorbed by the absorption bottle and then, an absorption liquid runs into the concentration column 2 to concentrate an inorganic gas component in the absorption liquid into the column 2. Subsequently, a valve 13 is switched to send an eluate to the column 2 from an eluate tank 18, where an acid gas component in the column 2 is eluted. Then, the liquid is sent to a detector 5 through a separation column 3 and a removal column 4 to measure the density of the acid gas.
