PRODUCTION OF MASS-LIKE COVERED FOOD BY COVERING SOLID FOOD MATERIAL WITH PLASTIC FOOD MATERIAL IN DOUBLE LAYER STATE AND APPARATUS USED THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To form a mass of covered food, by preparing a plural kind of plastic food materials in a state of a cylinder having double layers and bottom above a closed opening and closing gate, throwing a solid food material into the bottom of the cylinder, opening the gate, pressing the plastic material downward and bundling the material into a mass. CONSTITUTION:Plural kind of plastic food materials P and Q are pressed and sent into upside of a closed opening and closing gate 3 by extruders 1 and 6 to keep the materials to the state of a cylinder having plural layers and bottom. A solid food material S is thrown into the cylinder bottom of plastic food material kept to state of cylinder having plural layers and bottom by solid product feed means 4. The plastic food material having plural layers and bottom and containing the thrown solid food material is pressed out downward by pushing means 5 and a gate 3 is opened to bundle the materials into a mass. A neck part of the plastic food material of the material mass bundled into the mass is cut by a shutter 35 to mold the material into a mass. As a result, a mass-shaped coated food consisting of closely and mutually bonded solid food material included inside and several kind of plastic food materials packing the solid food material can be formed.
