PREVENTING MECHANISM FOR MULTIPLY SUPERPOSED FEEDING IN SHEET FEEDING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent multiply superposed feeding by providing reverse rotation transmitting means having gear means for rotating them mutually in the opposite directions and friction clutch means for interlocking them by friction force and reversing a braking roller. CONSTITUTION:A friction clutch disk 42 which is rotatably supported on a supporting shaft 41 is in contact with a gear 43 rotatably supported on the supporting shaft 41 via a spacer. A compression spring 45 is provided in between the gear 43 and an opposing gear 43 and the friction coefficient between the contacting faces of the friction disk 42 and a driven roller 4 can be adjusted by the pressure contact force of the spring 45. In order to present the driven roller 4, the friction clutch 42, and the first gear 43 and a corresponding object opposite to it from being moved to the outside of the supporting shaft 41 due to the displacing force of the spring 45, a split ring 44 is fitted into a fitting groove provided on the supporting shaft 41.
