Desulphurising additive material, spheroidising alloy and modifier alloy are injected, in that order, into the molten iron. Slag is removed and the iron is cast directly from the treatment ladle. The proposed method is carried out in a ladle (3) using an injector equipped with a lance (5). The lid of the ladle is attached to the injector. It will cover the ladle when the lance is dipped into the molten metal (4) in the ladle.
