Lifting tool for machine parts - has engagement component with lock heel formations, insertable in hole in machine

The lifting tool (6) has an engagement component (9) which, after the tool has pivoted through approx. 45 deg., is insertable in the hole (14). The engagement component has locx heel formations (12) which pass by two ridges (17,18) during the insertion movement. These ridges are on opposing walls of the hole. After lifting tool has pivoted backwards through approximately 45 deg., the heel formations effect a locking engagement behind the hole ridges locking the engagement component in the hole. The lifting tool is released by reversing the procedure once lifting is completed.
