New thymopentin (TP5) analogues are disclosed which contain in their peptide chain one or more retro-inverse bonds. The new compounds have one of the following general formulas (I), (II) and (III) CHEM CHEM wherein R is hydrogen or an acyl radical, and R1 is a group of the formula -OR2 wherein R2 is a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon radical, and the corresponding acid or basic addition salts pharmaceutically acceptable. Such new compounds have immunostimulating activity.
