This bicycle stand consists of a carrier on which are guide rails (2) and holders (3). Each guide rail (2) has a first section (2a) sloping upwards from the carrier and a second, upper section (2b) sloping downwards to the carrier. The front wheel (11) of a bicycle (10) is pushed up the first section (2a) to the second section (2b) where the wheel (11) remains. Each holder (3) is positioned next to the base of the first section (2a) of the guide rail (2) and consists of an 'L'-shaped profile on the upper end of which is a 'U'-shaped insert (4). into which the lower pedal crank arm (12) of the bicycle is held. The bicycle wheels are not held thus avoiding damage. ADVANTAGE - Provides a bicycle stand which is simply constructed, is easily operated and practically eliminates theft.
