The fastener has a support (3), joined to the central part (1) of the fastener, in which two press buttons (7) slide. 'inner ends (7b) project from the support lateral surfaces and engage in slots in the folding parts of the fastener (4) to hold them closed. The support has two pairs of lateral parts (3b) with an opening (8) between them which guides the buttons. They are shaped like tuning forks with their ends (7a) projecting from the ends of the support. Their branches curve outwards and are pressed together by cams (3a) at the ends of the lateral parts.
