Propellers for wind power machines, aircraft or helicopters are balanced at constant speed. Nevertheless, vibrations occur which can lead to destruction of the bearings of the propeller and to other unpleasant resonance phenomena. It is proposed that in a propeller the distribution of mass is undertaken uniformly on or in all the blades in such a way that the polar moments of inertia of the elements of mass of at least all mutually opposite blades are essentially identical with respect to the axis of rotation.
