The discharge device for free-flowing bulk material which is piled up to form a heap of bulk material has, in the bottom region of the heap of bulk material, at least one (preferably a plurality of parallel) discharge tunnel (1) having a discharge conveyor (scraper conveyor) located therein, the discharge tunnels being provided with lateral bulk-material supply openings (5).
