The invention relates to a vortex sheet (plate), especially for heat transfer devices having curved channels. It is the object of the invention to produce a deflection element in the form of a sheet which, with the aid of any number of conducting elements, forces a sinuous flow of the medium flowing through, ensures reliable positional fixing and can be assembled and disassembled with small forces. The vortex sheet according to the invention consists of a comb-shaped metal sheet, to whose web 1 long 2 and short 3 prongs are connected alternately, the prongs 2 bearing on the opposing channel walls over their entire length and the short prongs 3, including a region of the web 1 lying in their extension, also bearing on the opposing channel walls.
