The invention relates to a firing mechanism having a cocking device for shooting weapons, consisting of a trigger, a cocking lever and an adjusting screw. The object of the invention is to create a design having few components and increased reliability. The invention comprises the trigger being provided with a tab for engaging with the tab on the cocking lever.
