Process for obtaining a protective layer of copper parts, adherent, resistant and with a high rate of coverage of the substrate, by passivating anodization, characterized in that said copper parts are immersed in a bath of molten fluorides and subjected to a anode current with a low surface density below a limit value depending on the nature of the bath, the current possibly being continuous or intermittent.
