The pen is formed by a flexible, suspended enclosure (1) with side (4,5) and end (6) walls of rotproof material and a base wall (7) of flexible mesh material. A snail restraining barrier (9) is formed along the upper edge of the wall inner faces. A rigid support sheet (10) for the snails and their food is arranged over the whole length of the pen, above and parallel to the base wall. A channel (13) in the central portion of the support sheet forms a water supply route. ADVANTAGE - Compact, robust and flexible modular construction. (12pp Dwg.No.2/6)
