The extruder has two planet roller modules (5, 6), a snail module (4) and a central spindle (11) of the roller module projecting into an opening of a snail (7) of the snail module and deformed with the snail. The spindle is provided with angular gear teeth, where the spindle projects into the snail over the angular gear teeth. The snail is provided with an opening for retaining the spindle, where the opening is provided with an internal tooth corresponding to an external tooth of the spindle. A screw joint is provided for tensioning of the spindle with the snail. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a central spindle.
