PRODUCTION OF SAWDUST SPAWN OF 'SHIITAKE' MUSHROOM, CULTURE OF 'SHIITAKE' USING THE SPAWN AND SHEET FOR THE SPAWN

PURPOSE:To perform the transplantation of spawn of SHIITAKE mushroom (Lentinus edodes) to a bed log in a state packed in a trapezoidal-shaped bag by forming a number of transzoidal-shaped bags in a sheet, filling a mixture of SHIITAKE spawn containing sawdust, SHIITAKE mycelium and water into the bag and culturing the mycelium in the bag. CONSTITUTION:A number of trapezoidal-shaped bag parts 2a are formed in a sheet 1. A number of holes 11 of a size to prevent the passage of wet sawdust are opened on the sheet. A mixture of SHIITAKE spawn containing sawdust, SHIITAKE mycelium and water is filled in the trapezoidal-shaped bag part 2a from an opening 10 and the mycelium is cultured. The mycelium extended from the sawdust spawn passes through the hole 11 of the trapezoidal-shaped bag part 2a and proliferates in a bed log.
