PURPOSE:To provide a ceramic dielectric material reduced in the temperature change degree of the permittivity thereof by calcining barium titanate and a barium titanate based perovskite solid solution having a Curie temperature at a temperature near 100 deg.C together with a specific metal oxide. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic dielectric material composition comprises 98-60mol% of barium titanate (average particle diameter: 0.1-1.5mum), 2-40mol% of a barium titanate based perovskite solid solution (average particle diameter: 0.1-1.5mum, Curie temperature: 50-115 deg.C), the sum of the components being 100mol%, A) 0.3-2mol% of at least one oxide selected from Nb2O5 and Ta2O5 and B) 0.1-2mol% of at least one oxide selected from CoO, NiO, MgO, CuO and rare earth element oxides. The composition is calcined at 1000-1400 deg.C to provide a ceramic dielectric material.
