PEROXIDIZED LIPID PRODUCTION-INHIBITING AGENT FROM PLANT EXTRACT

PURPOSE:To provide a peroxidized lipid production-inhibiting agent containing a specific extract prepared from green tea, senega or ONJI (a plant), having good solubility in water and capable of being readily compounded with a cosmetic such as a beauty wash or bream. CONSTITUTION:The agent contains one kind or more of three plant extracts comprising (A) green extract powder, (B) senega saponin and (C) ONJI saponin prepared from green tea, senega and ONJI, respectively. Water, ethanol, methanol or mixed solvents comprising the water and the ehtanol in a ratio of 9/1-1/9 are used as an extraction solvent for the component A. Mixed solvents comprising the water and the methanol in a ratio of 9/1-9/1 as well as the solvents described for the component A are employed for the components B and C.
