Extract from Alhagi pseudalhagiplant, comprises proanthocyanidins, isoprenoids, flavonoids and glucides. Independent claims are included for: (1) a preparation of the extract comprising by extracting all parts of the plant using a solvent comprising ethanol, methanol, n-butanol, isopropanol, glycerin, propylene glycol, butylene glycol and ethylacetate acetone; (2) a pharmaceutical composition containing the extract; and (3) a cosmetic composition containing the extract in combination with a vehicle or its mixture.
