PREPARATION:The compound of formula I can be produced by reacting an N-substituted-2-thiophenealdehyde amidinohydrazone.quaternary ammonium salt of formula II (X is halogen) with 7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane of formula III preferably in an inert gas atmosphere in a solvent such as acetonitrile at the boiling point of the solvent.
