WAREHOUSING/DELIVERY DEVICE FOR VEHICLE IN MULTI-STORIED WAREHOUSE

PURPOSE:To shorten the warehousing/delivery time for vehicles by shifting the vehicle along the arrangement direction of a rack and delivering the vehicle into the rack and arranging a vehicle shifting device on each floor of a multistoried warehouse and taking out the vehicle from inside the rack. CONSTITUTION:In a multistoried warehouse 11 in which racks 2 for accommodating vehicles 3 are arranged in the Z-direction on each floor, a vehicle transferring device 14 consisting of a rail 12 and a shiftable vehicle 13 which shifts along the rail 12 is arranged on each floor. When the vehicle 3 is accommodated into the warehouse 11, the vehicle 3 is positioned in a pallet,24, and transported in the X-direction together with the pallet 24 by a vehicle transporting device 23, and delivered to a vehicle shifting device 25. Further, the vehicle is transported in the Z-direction, and delivered to a fork 18, and then transported in the Y-direction by a drop lifter 13 and transported to a set floor. Then, the vehicle is delivered to the shiftable vehicle 13 of a warehousing/delivery device 10, and accommodated into the previously set rack 2.
