PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modification method which enables an existing sealing device of a delivery/warehousing opening to be modified into a sealing device with excellent fireproof performance, preventing a fire from breaking out due to combustion of a flexible polyurethane foam caused by the heat of a lamp.;SOLUTION: In this modification method, an elastic heat-insulating layer 30 with excellent air permeability is provided on a front surface 12a of an existing pat 12 wherein a core material 20 of the flexible polyurethane foam is covered with a fire-retardant resin-based sheet 21; when generated because the flexible polyurethane foam is melted by the heat of the lamp, gas flows out to the outside through the layer 30; and the existing airtight device is modified into the sealing device with the excellent fireproof performance, which prevents the fire from being caused by the burning of the flexible polyurethane foam even if a loading chamber 14 is kept pressed against the existing pat 12 for a long period of time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
