L-SHAPED WRAPPING DEVICE FOR CENTER-FOLDED FILM

PURPOSE:To automate the transfer of products and to reduce cost by a method wherein an upper piece of a center folded film which is extracted by a supplying conveyer covers the upper portion of a guide, and the lower piece is extracted below the conveyer so that a product to be wrapped is inserted into an opening which opens in almost a channel shape in its cross section. CONSTITUTION:A rolled center-folded film 5 is mounted in a lower part of a base 2 and extracted to a direction the same as that of a belt conveyer 3 transfer. A rod-shaped guide 43 receives an upper piece 5A of the center-folded film 5 of a supplying conveyer 3. A separate body 44 is preferably provided so that the lower piece 5b of the center folded film 5 may not be rolled into the belt conveyer 3. The center folded film 5 is thus opened in an almost channel shape in its cross section, and a product to be wrapped G is inserted in its opening and mounted on the supplying conveyer. Then the rims of the upper and lower pieces of the center-folded film opening between a belt conveyer 6 for carrying are overlayed by a sealing device 7.
