DEVICE FOR PREPARING LIME FERTILIZER FROM DISTILLATION WASTE SOLUTION OF SECOND GLASS SHOCHU

PURPOSE:To inexpensively prepare a lime fertilizer as a soil-improving agent from the waste solution of the second grade SHOCHU (a distilled alcoholic beverage made from rice or sweet potatoes) by mixing the waste solution with slated lime milk, flocculating the mixture in a flocculation tank, draining the flocculated product and subsequently dehydrating the product with a belt style dehydrator. CONSTITUTION:The distillation waste solution of the second grade SHOCHU discharged is fed into a mixing valve 3 from a waste solution tank 1 with a waste solution pump 2. An approximately 1% concentration slated lime milk prepared in a slated lime milk tank 4 is also fed into the mixing valve 3 with a slated lime milk pump to mix the waste solution with the lime milk. The mixed solution is fed into a flocculation tank 6, flocculated for approximately 1 to 2min and subsequently fed into a rotary drum screen 7. Since the rotary drum screen 7 is rotated at a rate of 1 turn per 1.5 to 2min, the flocculated lumps are gradually enlarged and water is floated on the surface of the solution. The floated water is subjected to a solid liquid separation process using a drum screen to drop the water in the lower filtrate tank 8, followed by discharging the water from a drain 9. After approximately 7 to 8min, the flocculated lumps carried to the front portion of the screen are dropped in a belt style dehydrator 10 and dehydrated to prepare a lime fertilizer.
