PURPOSE: To provide a polymer mixture improved in mechanical property which is obtained by mixing a specified polyphenylene ether, a polyarylene sulfide and an epoxy compound. ;CONSTITUTION: (A) A functionalized polyphenylene ether which is a reaction product of polyphenylene ether and a compound of the formula I [i is a group of the formula II (X is F, Cl or the like); ii is carboxylic acid or the like; Z is divalent hydrocarbon], or a polyphenylene ether which is a mixture of the functionalized polyphenylene ether and non-functionalized polyphenylene ether, (B) a polyarylene sulfide, and (C) an epoxy compound.
